Foot
From the center of Kutaisi, start at the main square, located near the White Bridge. Head northeast towards the main street, Rustaveli Street. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Tsereteli Street. Turn left onto Tsereteli Street. Walk for about 500 meters until you see the signs for Motsameta Monastery. Follow the signs which will guide you slightly uphill for another 1.5 kilometers. The monastery is located in Motsameta, and the stunning views will be visible as you approach.
Public Transport
From the center of Kutaisi, head to the nearest bus station, which is located near the main square. Look for a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Motsameta. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus goes to Motsameta Monastery. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Motsameta stop, you will need to walk uphill for approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the monastery. Follow the signs as they indicate the path to the monastery.
