If you are traveling by car from Meskheti, head east on the main highway (E117). Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to Vardzia Resort. Take the exit towards Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi. Follow the signs to Vardzia Resort. The resort is approximately 5 kilometers from the highway, nestled in a picturesque area. Look for the entrance sign to the resort on your right.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, start by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from the center of Meskheti to Akhalkalaki. Marshrutkas run frequently, usually departing from near the central market. The fare is typically around 3 GEL. Once you arrive in Akhalkalaki, you will need to transfer to another marshrutka or taxi heading to Vardzia Resort. If you opt for a taxi, expect to pay around 15-20 GEL for the short ride (approximately 10 kilometers). Be sure to confirm the destination with the driver.
