The nearest large settlement to Eagle Gorge is Dedoplistskaro, approximately 130 km from Tbilisi. From Tbilisi, the drive to Dedoplistskaro takes about 2 hours. Once in Dedoplistskaro, the gorge is located 4 km to the north. The first 2 km of the road are paved, followed by 2 km of gravel road. The drive from Dedoplistskaro to the Eagle Gorge takes about 15 minutes. There are no tolls on this route. Parking is available near the monument.

From Tbilisi, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Dedoplistskaro. Marshrutkas depart from the Ortachala bus station in Tbilisi. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours, and the fare is around 10-15 GEL. Once in Dedoplistskaro, you can hire a taxi to take you to Eagle Gorge, which is about 4 km away. A taxi ride should cost around 10-15 GEL.
