Walking
From Rabati Castle, exit the castle complex through the main entrance. Once you are outside, head straight towards the main road (E691). Turn left onto the E691 road. Continue walking on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Samtskhe-Javakheti History Museum on your right side. The museum is located at JXRG+V9V E 691, Akhaltsikhe.
Car
If you are driving from Rabati Castle, exit the castle complex and turn left onto the main road (E691). Continue driving for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Samtskhe-Javakheti History Museum will be on your right. There is parking available near the museum. Please note that there may be a modest entrance fee to access the museum in addition to any parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach the Samtskhe-Javakheti History Museum by public transport, exit Rabati Castle and walk to the nearest bus stop on E691. You can take a local minibus (marshrutka) that goes towards Akhaltsikhe. The fare is typically very affordable, around 1 GEL. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the museum stop. The museum will be a short walk from the bus stop.
