If you are driving, start from the city of Zugdidi, which is a common entry point into Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti. From Zugdidi, take the E60 highway heading east towards Kutaisi. After approximately 25 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Motsameta Monastery. You will turn off the highway onto a smaller road that leads to the monastery. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach a junction where you will see signs for Motsameta Monastery. The monastery is located about 2 kilometers from this junction. The total driving time from Zugdidi should be around 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Note that parking is available near the monastery, but it can get crowded during peak tourist seasons.
