Ananuri Fortress Complex, Svaneti Travel Guide

Nestled along the Georgian Military Highway, about 72 kilometers from Tbilisi, the Ananuri Fortress Complex is a captivating historical site. This well-preserved fortress, dating back to the 13th century, was once the stronghold of the powerful Aragvi dynasty, who ruled the surrounding lands.
