Getting There

Car
If driving, start from Mestia and head south towards Lasdili. Follow signs for Jvari. After Lasdili, turn right onto the unpaved road to Zagari Pass. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended due to the rough terrain. Be aware that there are no gas stations between Mestia and Lentekhi.

Public Transport
From Mestia, take a minibus (marshrutka) to Lasdili for approximately 5 GEL. From Lasdili, hire a local taxi or share a ride with other hikers to Zagari Pass. Negotiate the taxi fare, expecting to pay around 30-50 GEL.

Hiking
For a challenging but rewarding experience, hike from Lasdili to Zagari Pass. The 8 km hike takes about 2-3 hours. Follow the dirt road from Lasdili towards the pass, enjoying the stunning views. Wear good hiking shoes and bring plenty of water and snacks.
