Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Mestia, which is the main hub in Svaneti. Head southeast on the E117 road towards the village of Lentekhi. After about 20 km, you will reach a fork; keep left to continue on to the Chaukhi Pass road. Follow the road for approximately 30 km until you reach the parking area near the Chaukhi Mountain trailhead. There is no official fee for parking, but be sure to check the condition of the road as it can be rough and may require a 4x4 vehicle.

From Mestia, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) to the village of Juta. Minibuses depart from the main bus station and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, costing around 5 GEL.
