Start your journey from Mestia, the main town in Svaneti. Head southwest on the main road (E117) towards Zugdidi. After approximately 10 km, take the right turn towards Jvari. Follow this road until you reach the village of Lasdili. From Lasdili, take the unpaved road leading to the Zagari Pass.
