From Freedom Square, walk north on Pushkin Street until you reach the Mtkvari River. Turn left and walk along the river embankment. Continue until you see the Metekhi Bridge. Cross the bridge to reach the church, which will be on your left. Alternatively, from Avlabari Metro Station, walk south toward the Kura River. The Metekhi Church is visible from the station and is a short walk away.

Take the Tbilisi Metro to Avlabari Station, which is on the Akhmeteli-Varketili Line (Line 1). Exit the metro station and walk towards the Kura River; the church is a short walk away. The metro fare is 1 GEL. Alternatively, take bus 337 from Station Square to Queen Ketevani Ave #19. The bus fare is 1 GEL.
