Walking
From the central square in Mtskheta, head east towards the Mtkvari River. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge. Once you reach the Tbilisi side, follow the road signs towards Tbilisi city center. Continue straight along the main road which is Kote Afkhazi Street. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the Tbilisi city limits. Keep walking straight until you arrive at the intersection with Rustaveli Avenue. Turn right onto Rustaveli Avenue and walk for approximately 300 meters until you see Jan Shardeni Street on your left. Turn left onto Jan Shardeni Street, and you will find it bustling with cafes, shops, and local attractions.
Bus
Locate the bus station in Mtskheta. Look for the marshrutka (minibus) heading to Tbilisi. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus will drop you off near the Old Tbilisi area. The ride typically takes around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tbilisi, ask the driver to let you off at the 'Old Tbilisi' stop. From there, walk towards Rustaveli Avenue. After reaching Rustaveli Avenue, turn left and walk about 300 meters until you find Jan Shardeni Street on your left.
