Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Freedom Square, head southwest on Rustaveli Avenue. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with M. Kostava Street. Turn left onto M. Kostava Street and continue walking straight for another 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout. Saarbrücken Square will be visible directly ahead.

  • Public Transport

    From the Tbilisi Metro Station at Freedom Square, take Line 1 (the red line) in the direction of the Varketili station. Disembark at the fourth stop, which is Marjanishvili. Exit the station and walk west on Marjanishvili Street for about 5 minutes. Turn right onto M. Kostava Street and continue walking straight until you reach Saarbrücken Square.

  • Walking

    If you are coming from the Old Town (Narikala Fortress), head down the hill towards Rike Park. Walk through the park and cross the bridge to get to Rustaveli Avenue. From there, head northeast on Rustaveli Avenue for about 15 minutes. When you reach the intersection with M. Kostava Street, turn right, and you will find Saarbrücken Square after a short walk.
