Start at the central square of Telavi, known as 'Freedom Square' (Tavisupleba Square). From the square, head northeast towards the main road, Chavchavadze Street. After about 200 meters, you will reach the intersection with B. Kvernadze Street. Turn left onto B. Kvernadze Street. Continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards the Giant Plane Tree. The tree is located in a small park area on the right side of the road, just before you reach the intersection with E. Akhalkatsishvili Street.
