Arsenishvili Street. Turn right onto G. Arsenishvili Street and continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Vakhvakhishvili fortress. The fortress is located on a hillside, and you will see it in the distance. Once you reach the coordinates WF8G+CV4, you will have arrived at Vakhvakhishvili fortress. The site offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.

If you prefer public transport, start at the main bus station in Telavi. Take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards the Telavi region. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Vakhvakhishvili fortress. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the fortress. From there, you might have to walk approximately 500 meters uphill towards the fortress. Follow the path that leads up the hill, and you will see the fortress as you approach.
