Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the village of Omalo, which is the main hub in Tusheti. From Omalo, take the road heading southwest towards Chkhatana. The road is well-marked, but be aware that it can be narrow and winding. Follow the signs for Chkhatana. Upon reaching Chkhatana, look for the trailhead marked for Khadori Waterfall. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the village and continue on foot. The hike to the waterfall from Chkhatana will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace.

  • Public Transport

    If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a shared minibus (marshrutka) from Tbilisi to Omalo. The journey takes around 7-8 hours, and buses leave from the Didube Bus Station. Once you arrive in Omalo, follow the same directions as for car travel. You will have to walk to Chkhatana and then to the waterfall.
