If you are traveling by car, you can start from the village of Omalo, which is the main hub in Tusheti. Drive south on the main road out of Omalo, which will take you towards the village of Dartlo. After about 30 minutes, you will reach Dartlo, which is a beautiful village worth a short stop. Continue on the road towards the village of Chigo, then follow the signs leading towards the mountain. The road becomes rough and may require a 4WD vehicle. Once you reach the end of the road, you may have to park and hike the remaining distance to Juguturliuchati Mountain, which is roughly a 1 to 2-hour hike depending on your pace.

For those using public transportation, first, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Omalo. This journey usually takes around 6-8 hours, depending on road conditions and stops.
