Walking
From the Markt square in Maastricht, walk southwest towards the Maas River. Cross the Sint Servaasbrug bridge and continue straight. After crossing, turn right and walk along the Maasboulevard. Follow the path until you see the Helpoort (old city gate) on your left. Aldenhofpark is located adjacent to the Helpoort. The walk is approximately 15 minutes and is free.
Public Transport
From Maastricht Central Station, take bus line 3, 4 or 9 towards the city center. Get off at the Mosae Forum bus stop. From there, walk south towards the Maas River, then turn left onto Maasboulevard. Walk along the Maasboulevard until you see the Helpoort on your left. Aldenhofpark is located adjacent to the Helpoort. A single bus fare is approximately €2-3. The walk from the bus stop is about 5 minutes.
