From the Aachen Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), head south on Ackerstraße towards Joseph-von-Görres-Straße. Continue straight onto Bahnhofstraße and then onto the Fußgängerzone (Pedestrian Zone). Follow the signs for the city center, passing by various shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach the Markt square, where you can see the Aachen Cathedral. From there, head northeast on Marktstraße, then turn left onto the Kaiserplatz. Continue on until you reach the intersection with Adalbertstraße. From here, you can take a bus or tram to Roermond, but it is recommended to check the schedules at the nearest bus stop. If you prefer to walk the entire distance, follow the signs for the 'Roermond' pedestrian pathway, which will take you to the border. The journey is approximately 45 minutes on foot.
