  If you're traveling by car from the central Alps region, head towards the A95 highway. Take the exit for B2 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen.   To reach Bavarian Prealps via public transportation, take a train from any major city in the Alps, such as Innsbruck or Munich, to the nearest train station, which is Lenggries.
