If you are traveling by car, take the B188 towards Stendal. Once you enter Stendal, follow signs for the city center. Continue straight until you reach Schadewachten. The Altmärkisches Museum is located at Schadewachten 48. There is limited street parking available nearby, which may incur a fee depending on the time of day.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a regional train to Stendal Hauptbahnhof (main station). From the train station, you can take bus line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Stendal, Markt' stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Simply head northwest on Breite Straße, then turn left onto Schadewachten, and you will find the museum at number 48. Note that bus tickets usually cost around €2.50.

If you are already in the vicinity of Stendal and prefer to walk, you can navigate to Altmärkisches Museum by starting at the Stendal town center (Marktplatz). Head northwest on Breite Straße, then take a left onto Schadewachten. The museum will be located on your left at Schadewachten 48.
