From Baden-Baden main train station, take bus line 204 towards 'Gernsbach'. Get off at the 'Fremersberg' stop. The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes. A single ticket costs around €3.10. From the bus stop, it is a short, but steep, 5-minute walk uphill to reach the tower.

Fremersberg Tower offers a unique blend of historical significance and natural beauty. The original viewing tower was built in 1883, and heightened in 1900. Due to instability, it was demolished and rebuilt in 1954 using the original stone. In 1961, it was replaced with the current transmission tower, which provides both telecommunications services and a public observation platform.Ascend the 144 steps to the observation deck and be rewarded with breathtaking views. From this vantage point, you can see the Baden-Baden basin, the Upper Rhine Plain, and the Vosges Mountains to the west. To the east, the Northern Black Forest unfolds, including the Merkur mountain. To the northeast, you can spot the Battert with its climbing rocks and the ruins of Hohenbaden Castle. The tower is open year-round, providing an all-weather destination for families and nature enthusiasts. Ample parking is available at the base of the mountain.Today, Fremersberg Tower remains a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike.
