If you are traveling by car, start from any major city along the Baltic Sea Coast, such as Rostock or Lübeck. Use the A20 motorway and head towards Wismar. Take the exit towards B105, following signs for Rerik. After approximately 20 km on the B105, turn onto the B03 towards Rerik. Follow the signs for 'Strand', which is located on Dünenstraße, 18230 Rerik. Parking is available near the beach, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.

Begin your journey by taking a regional train to the nearest major train station, either in Wismar or Kühlungsborn. From Wismar, you can catch a bus (line 120) directly to Rerik, which takes about 40 minutes.
