    From Berchtesgaden, take bus 846 towards Ramsau/Hintersee. Get off at the 'Holzlagerplatz Blaueis Abzweigung' bus stop. From there, follow the signs towards Blaueishütte and Schärtenspitze. Bus fare is approximately €3-5.

  • Walking

    From the Holzlagerplatz bus stop or the Seeklause parking area at Hintersee, follow the well-marked hiking trails towards the Schärtenalm and Blaueishütte. The trail gradually ascends through the forest. From Blaueishütte, the path to Schärtenspitze becomes steeper and more challenging, with some secured sections. Allow approximately 4-5 hours for the ascent from Hintersee to the summit.

  • Parking

    Parking is available at the Seeklause near Hintersee. Parking fees are approximately €5 per day. Arrive early, especially during peak season, as parking spaces are limited.
