If you are starting from Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S3, S5, S7, or S9 S-Bahn train towards Spandau or Potsdam. Get off at the Wannsee station, which is approximately 25 minutes away. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards the lake, and you will reach Wannsee in about 10 minutes on foot.

Public Transport - U-Bahn and Bus
From the closest U-Bahn station, take the U9 line to Rathaus Steglitz station. Transfer to bus line M11 at the bus stop in front of the station. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes, getting off at the Wannsee stop. From there, it's a short walk to the lakeside.

If you are staying in the Steglitz area, you can walk to Wannsee. From the center of Steglitz, head towards Schildhornstraße, then take a left on to Teltower Damm. Continue straight until you reach the Wannsee area, which should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your walking speed.
