    From Pforzheim, follow the B294 to Bad Wildbad. In Bad Wildbad, follow the signs to Sommerberg. Paid parking is available at Peter-Liebig-Weg 12, 75323 Bad Wildbad. Parking fees are up to 2 hours: €3.00, up to 3 hours: €5.00, up to 4 hours: €6.00, maximum daily rate: €7.00. From the parking lot, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the Treetop Walk entrance. Limited free parking is available at the Bad Wildbad sports facilities, a 20-minute walk to the Sommerbergbahn.

    From the center of Bad Wildbad, a 2-kilometer hiking trail called the “Zickzack-Weg” leads to the Sommerberg. The entrance is near the Vital Therme. Allow approximately one hour for the ascent. Follow signs for Sommerbergbahn or Baumwipfelpfad. Alternatively, take the Sommerbergbahn from Uhlandplatz 5, 75323 Bad Wildbad. A single ride on the Sommerbergbahn costs €5.50 for adults, €3.50 for children (6-14 years).

Located in Bad Wildbad, this 1250-meter-long treetop walkway offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the forest from a fresh perspective, high among the treetops. The path winds its way through a mixed forest of beech, fir, and spruce trees, reaching heights of up to 20 meters above the forest floor. The walkway is designed to be accessible to all, featuring a maximum gradient of 6% and regular rest areas, making it suitable for wheelchairs, strollers, and visitors of all ages and abilities. Along the path, interactive learning stations offer insights into the Black Forest ecosystem, its flora and fauna, and the importance of forest conservation. One of the highlights is the 40-meter-high observation tower, offering a spectacular 360-degree panorama of the Black Forest. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Stuttgart TV tower and the Swabian Alb. For thrill-seekers, a 55-meter tunnel slide spirals down from a 25-meter-high platform in the tower's center. The adjacent Adventure Forest Sommerberg offers an 8,000 square meter woodland playing paradise with 25 play and learning stations.
