Train

From Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), purchase a ticket to Titisee-Neustadt. Look for trains heading towards 'Seebrugg' or 'Titisee'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Titisee station, follow the signs towards the lake (Titisee), which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead. You will see the beautiful lake and recreational area upon arrival.

At Freiburg's main bus station (ZOB), find the bus service that goes to Titisee-Neustadt. The bus number 721 or 727 typically operates this route. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Titisee stop, and follow the pedestrian paths towards the lake, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Freiburg. Head east from the city center towards the 'B31' road which leads to Titisee. Follow the bike path signs, which will guide you along a scenic route through the Black Forest. The ride is about 20 kilometers and takes roughly 1.5 hours. Once you reach Titisee, you can enjoy the lakeside promenade.

Walking

For a more adventurous option, you can hike from Freiburg to Titisee. Start at the city center and follow the signs leading to the Black Forest trails.
