Tram
If you are starting from Bonn central station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof), head to the tram stop located just outside the station. Take tram line 66 towards 'Köln' (Cologne). This tram will take you directly to Cologne. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Heumarkt' stop. From Heumarkt, it's a short 5-minute walk to Alter Markt. Just walk straight towards the large square, and you will see Alter Markt on your left.
Bus
From Bonn city center, head to the bus stop at 'Markt'. Take bus line 610 towards 'Köln' (Cologne). The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at 'Köln Neumarkt' and from there, you can either walk for about 10 minutes to reach Alter Markt or take tram line 1 or 7 from Neumarkt towards 'Bonn' and get off at the 'Heumarkt' stop. Then, walk for about 5 minutes to Alter Markt.
Train
From Bonn Hauptbahnhof, take a regional train (RE or S-Bahn) towards 'Köln' (Cologne). The journey takes about 20 minutes. Disembark at 'Köln Hauptbahnhof' (Cologne Central Station). From there, walk towards the Dom (Cologne Cathedral), then head towards the 'Heumarkt' square. Alter Markt is a short 5-minute walk from Heumarkt. Just follow the signs or ask locals if needed.
