Walking
If you are starting from Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Wenzelgasse. Turn right onto Bahnhofstraße and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Oxfordstraße. Turn left onto Oxfordstraße and follow it until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the B9 road (Rheinuferstraße). Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing, and you will see the Bonner Rheinuferpromenade directly ahead, along the Rhine river.
Public Transport
Start at Bonn Central Station and take tram line 66 or 63 towards Bad Godesberg or Bonn-Bad Godesberg. Get off at the 'Heussallee/Museumsmeile' stop. From there, walk towards the Rhine by following the signs for the Rheinuferpromenade. It is about a 10-minute walk: head down the stairs towards the river, and you will arrive at the promenade.
Walking
If you are in the city center, such as near the Beethoven House, head towards the Rhine river by walking down Bonngasse and turning left onto Am Hauptbahnhof. Continue straight until you reach the Rhine promenade. This is a pleasant walk of about 15-20 minutes, offering picturesque views along the way.
