Getting There

Train
From Bonn Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the S-Bahn S12 or S19 in the direction of Köln (Cologne). The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station). Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Dom (cathedral) and then take the exit towards Kardinal-Höffner-Platz. The KölnTourismus GmbH is located directly in front of the cathedral at Kardinal-Höffner-Platz 1.

Bus
From Bonn, you can also take bus line 610 from Bonn Hauptbahnhof towards Köln. Get off at the Köln Deutz Bahnhof stop. From there, walk towards the Deutz Bridge (Deutzer Brücke) and cross over to the other side of the River Rhine. Once you reach the other side, continue walking straight until you reach the Köln Hauptbahnhof. The KölnTourismus GmbH is located right in front of the cathedral at Kardinal-Höffner-Platz 1.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations in Bonn. Head towards the Rhine River and follow the bike path along the river towards Köln. The ride is approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your speed. Once you reach Köln, follow the signs to the Köln Hauptbahnhof. The KölnTourismus GmbH is just in front of the cathedral at Kardinal-Höffner-Platz 1.

For the adventurous, walking from Bonn to Köln is possible but will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Start at Bonn Hauptbahnhof and walk towards the Rhine River. Follow the riverbank path north towards Köln. As you approach Köln, you'll see the iconic cathedral (Dom) in the distance. Once you reach the Dom, walk around to the front where you will find the KölnTourismus GmbH located at Kardinal-Höffner-Platz 1.
