Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the regional train RE1 towards Köln-Deutz. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Köln-Deutz station, exit the station and walk towards the riverbank. You will see signs for the Rheinauhafen area. Walk along the river for about 15 minutes until you reach Im Zollhafen, where the Kranhäuser are located.

• Public Transport

  Alternatively, you can take the S-Bahn S6 or S11 from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof to Köln Messe/Deutz. After arriving, follow the same directions as above: exit the station, walk towards the river, and continue along the riverbank to Im Zollhafen.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the city center of Düsseldorf, you can take a leisurely walk to the Düsseldorf main station (Hauptbahnhof). From there, follow the public transport options listed above. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, head towards the Rhine River promenade and follow it to the south. The walk is about 40 kilometers long and will take you directly to Köln, but it is not recommended due to the distance.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  You can also take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app from anywhere in Düsseldorf directly to Kranhäuser im Rheinauhafen, Im Zollhafen, 50678 Köln. This is the most convenient option, though it may be more expensive. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
