From Bonn Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take bus line 601, 602, 603, or 631. Get off at the 'Botanischer Garten' or 'Beringstraße' bus stop. The garden entrance is a short walk from either stop. A single bus fare within Bonn is approximately €2.80.
Tram
From central Bonn, take tram line 61 or 62 towards 'Duisdorf' or 'Bad Godesberg'. Get off at the 'Poppelsdorf' stop. Walk straight down Poppelsdorfer Allee for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of the Botanical Garden on Meckenheimer Allee. A single tram fare is approximately €2.80.
Walking
From Bonn Central Station, the Botanical Garden is approximately a 15-minute walk via Poppelsdorfer Allee. Follow Poppelsdorfer Allee away from the city center, and the garden entrance will be on your right, just before Poppelsdorf Palace.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Bonn Hauptbahnhof to the Botanical Garden will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated cost is between €10-€15. Be sure to specify 'Botanischer Garten, Meckenheimer Allee' as your destination.
