Walking
If you are in Altstadt-Süd, head towards the Rhine River. From the riverbank, walk north along the river promenade until you reach the famous Hohenzollern Bridge (Hohenzollernbrücke). Cross the bridge, and once on the other side, follow the signs leading to the central area of Cologne (Innenstadt). After crossing the bridge, continue straight until you reach the intersection with An d. Malzmühle. The Ubii Monument is located at An d. Malzmühle 1, just a short walk from the bridge.
Public Transport - Tram
From anywhere in Altstadt-Süd, locate the nearest tram stop. The closest tram stops are 'Heumarkt' or 'Ubierring'. Take tram line 1 or 7 towards 'Bocklemünd' or 'Ubierring'. Get off at the 'Ubierring' stop. From there, walk a short distance towards An d. Malzmühle, where the Ubii Monument is situated at number 1. Note that a single tram ticket costs approximately €3.00.
Public Transport - Bus
You can also catch a bus from the Altstadt-Süd area. Look for a bus stop nearby and take bus line 142 towards 'Köln, Ebertplatz'. Get off at 'Köln, Ubierring'. From the bus stop, walk a few minutes to An d. Malzmühle 1 to find the Ubii Monument. The bus fare is around €3.00 for a single journey.
