Walking
From the center of Altstadt-Süd, head towards the Rhine River. Walk east on the main street, 'Friesenstraße', until you reach 'Roonstraße'. Turn left onto Roonstraße and continue until you reach the riverbank. Once you are at the riverbank, turn right and walk along the promenade. Keep walking for about 10 minutes, enjoying the view of the river. You will soon see the Rheintor der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer on your left side as you approach the old city wall.
