Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and turn left onto the street called 'Bahnstraße'. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach the large square known as 'Domplatte'. The Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) will be directly in front of you, and you can enter from the main entrance.

    From Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), take any train that is heading towards 'Köln Messe/Deutz' and get off at the next stop. After exiting the train, follow the signs to the 'Dom' (Cathedral) exit. Once you exit the station, you will see the Cathedral directly in front of you.

    If you are in the Old Town (Altstadt) area, head towards the Rhine River and follow the riverbank until you reach the 'Hohenzollern Bridge' (Hohenzollern Brücke). Cross the bridge and once you reach the other side, walk straight along 'Bischofsgartenstraße' until you see the Cathedral. It should take about 20 minutes.
