Public Transport
If you're starting from Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), exit the station towards the main square. Walk straight ahead, and you'll see the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) directly in front of you. It’s only about a 5-minute walk. If you're coming from the Neumarkt area, take tram line 1, 7, or 9 towards the Central Station and get off at the 'Köln Dom' stop. From there, walk towards the cathedral, which is impossible to miss.
Walking
If you are in the city center, the Cologne Cathedral is easily accessible on foot. From the Alter Markt (Old Market), walk north on Breite Strasse until you reach the Domstraße. Turn left onto Domstraße, and you'll find the cathedral at the end of the street. This walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Bus
If you're coming from the Belgian Quarter, you can take bus line 142 from 'Rudolfplatz' towards 'Köln Kranhaus'. Get off at 'Köln Dom' stop. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and from the bus stop, the cathedral is just a short walk away.
Tram
From the Friesenplatz area, take tram line 4, 5, or 16 towards 'Köln Dom'. Disembark at the 'Köln Dom' stop. The cathedral will be directly in front of you as you exit the tram, making it a straightforward journey of about 10 minutes.
