Public Transport
From Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 18 towards "Königsforst" and get off at "Rudolfplatz" (about a 10-minute ride). Once at Rudolfplatz, change to tram line 9 towards "Sülzgürtel". Get off at the next stop, "Friesenplatz". From there, walk south on Friesenstraße until you reach the intersection with Volksgartenstraße. Turn left onto Volksgartenstraße and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Die Volksgartenfälle will be on your right.

Walking
If you are near the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), walk towards the south along the Altstadt (Old Town) area. Head down to the Alter Markt and continue to Heumarkt. From Heumarkt, walk westward along the banks of the Rhine River until you reach the bridge (Hohenzollernbrücke). Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. From there, turn right onto Volksgartenstraße. After about a 15-minute walk, Die Volksgartenfälle will be on your left.
