If you are in the city center, you can easily reach EL-DE Haus by taking the U-Bahn (subway). Head to the nearest U-Bahn station, which is either 'Neumarkt' or 'Heumarkt'. From 'Neumarkt', take the U-Bahn line 3 or 4 towards 'Bocklemünd' or 'Bensberg' and get off at 'Appellhofplatz'. From 'Heumarkt', take the line 5 towards 'Sülz' and also get off at 'Appellhofplatz'. Once you exit the station, walk towards Appellhofpl. 23-25, which is just a short 3-minute walk straight ahead.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), you can walk to EL-DE Haus. Head west towards the main shopping street, Schildergasse. Continue straight until you reach Appellhofplatz. The museum is located at Appellhofpl. 23-25, which is about a 15-minute walk from the Cathedral. Look for the large building with the sign for EL-DE Haus as you approach.
Tram
You can also take a tram to reach the museum. Look for tram line 1, 7, or 9, and board the tram at any nearby stop. If you take tram line 1, get off at 'Heumarkt' stop, and from there it is a 5-minute walk to Appellhofpl. 23-25. If on tram line 7 or 9, get off at 'Appellhofplatz' stop, and the museum will be right in front of you.
