Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are in the city center, head to the nearest tram station, which is usually 'Neumarkt' or 'Dom/Hbf'. From 'Neumarkt', take tram line 1 (direction: Bocklemünd) or tram line 7 (direction: Sülz) and get off at 'Heumarkt' stop. From 'Dom/Hbf', take tram line 5 (direction: Zollstock Südfriedhof) or tram line 7 (direction: Sülz) and get off at 'Heumarkt'. After exiting the tram at 'Heumarkt', walk south towards the Rhine River, and you will see the Rheinauhafen area just a short 10-minute walk away.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), you can simply walk to Rheinauhafen. Head south from the Cathedral towards the Rhine River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the promenade for about 15 minutes. You'll soon reach the Rheinauhafen area, where you can enjoy the picturesque views of the harbor and the unique architecture.

    From the main station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), you can take bus line 133 towards 'Rheinauhafen'. The bus stop is right outside the station. Get off at 'Rheinauhafen' stop, which will drop you directly in the vicinity of the waterfront area.
