Getting there

Walking

If you are already in Deutz, start by heading towards the Rhine River. Walk towards the Deutzer Brücke (Deutz Bridge) and cross the bridge to get to the other side of the river. Once you cross the bridge, turn left and follow the riverbank. You will soon see signs pointing towards the Rheingarten area. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Public Transport - Tram

From any point in Deutz, locate the nearest tram station. You can take tram line 1 or 9 from Deutz station (Deutz Bahnhof). Board the tram in the direction of the 'Heumarkt' (for tram line 1) or 'Bonn' (for tram line 9). Get off at 'Heumarkt' station. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Rhine River and head north along the riverbank for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Rheingarten.

Public Transport - S-Bahn

Head to the nearest S-Bahn station in Deutz, which is Deutz Bahnhof. Take the S-Bahn line S6 or S11 towards 'Köln Messe/Deutz' and get off at 'Köln Hauptbahnhof' (Cologne Main Station). From there, follow signs to the Rhine River and walk south along the riverbank for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Rheingarten.
