Walking
If you are in Deutz, the Rheinpromenade Köln-Deutz is easily reachable by foot. From the Deutz train station (Bahnhof Köln-Deutz), exit the station and head towards the river. Walk straight down the Deutz-Kalker Straße until you reach the riverside. Turn left once you hit the Rhein river, and you will see the promenade along the water. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
Public Transport - Tram
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch a tram from the nearest tram stop to your location. The nearest tram stop is 'Deutz-Mülheimer Str.' or 'Deutz Bahnhof'. Take Tram line 1 or 9 towards 'Bonn' or 'Sürth', and get off at the stop 'Heumarkt'. From there, you can walk back towards the river, and follow the waterfront for about 10 minutes to reach the Rheinpromenade. A single ticket for the tram costs approximately €3, which you can purchase at ticket machines at the tram stop.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. There are several bike rental stations in Deutz. Once you have a bike, head towards the river and follow the bike path along the Rhine. The promenade is well-connected and cycling offers a scenic view of the area. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes. Rental prices vary but typically range from €1.50 to €3 per hour.
