From Dresden, head to the main train station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof). Purchase a ticket to 'Kurort Rathen' on the S-Bahn (S1 line). The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Kurort Rathen, exit the train station and follow the signs towards the Bastei. You will see a steep path leading up to the Bastei Bridge.
