From Dresden's city center, head to the 'Dresden Postplatz' bus stop. Take bus number 437 towards 'Lohmen'. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the 'Lohmen' stop. From there, follow the directions to Bastei as mentioned above; it is a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Dresden. Start from the city center and head towards 'Sachsenplatz'. Follow the bike path along the Elbe River towards 'Pillnitz'. After reaching Pillnitz, continue towards Lohmen. The ride is approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 1.5 hours. Once in Lohmen, follow the signs to Bastei.
