Getting There

  • Tram

    From the city center (e.g., Neumarkt or Altmarkt), walk to the nearest tram stop, which could be 'Postplatz' or 'Altmarkt'. Take tram line 3 or 8 towards 'Dresden Zschertnitz' or 'Dresden Bischofsweg'. Get off at the 'Zoo' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Zoo Dresden, located at Tiergartenstraße 1. Follow the signs to the entrance of the zoo.

    If you prefer, take bus number 75 from 'Dresden Hauptbahnhof' (main train station). Board the bus at the bus stop outside the station and ride it to 'Zoo' bus stop. Upon disembarking, proceed along Tiergartenstraße for a few minutes until you reach the entrance of Zoo Dresden.
