Tram
From the city center (e.g., Neumarkt or Altmarkt), walk to the nearest tram stop, which could be 'Postplatz' or 'Altmarkt'. Take tram line 3 or 8 towards 'Dresden Zschertnitz' or 'Dresden Bischofsweg'. Get off at the 'Zoo' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Zoo Dresden, located at Tiergartenstraße 1. If you prefer, take bus number 75 from 'Dresden Hauptbahnhof' (main train station). Board the bus at the bus stop outside the station and ride it to 'Zoo' bus stop. Upon disembarking, proceed along Tiergartenstraße for a few minutes until you reach the entrance of Zoo Dresden.

If you are close to the zoo, you can walk there. From the city center, head southeast towards Tiergartenstraße. This is a pleasant walk, taking you through some local parks and neighborhoods. Just follow Tiergartenstraße directly to the zoo entrance.
