Getting There

Train

From Dresden, head to the main train station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof). Take the S-Bahn line S1 towards Bad Schandau. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the station 'Lohmen'. Upon arrival, exit the train and follow the signs to the bus stop outside the station.

At the Lohmen train station, catch the bus number 237 towards 'Bastei'. This bus will take you directly to the Bastei area. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the bus stop 'Bastei' which is located near the entrance to the Bastei Bridge.
