Experience Brühl's Terrace

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the main square, Prager Strasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wilsdruffer Strasse. Turn right and walk until you reach the Altmarkt square. From there, continue straight to the Frauenkirche, a prominent landmark. Once at the Frauenkirche, walk down the street called Georgenstraße until you reach the Elbe River. Turn left onto the riverbank and walk along the river until you see Brühl's Terrace on your right, just past the Augustus Bridge.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you prefer to take public transport, board tram line 1, 2, or 8 at the Dresden Hauptbahnhof. Get off at the stop 'Postplatz'. From there, walk towards the Elbe River on the street called Wilsdruffer Strasse, and then turn left onto the riverbank. Brühl's Terrace will be visible on your right-hand side a short walk down the path.

  • Walking from Zwinger Palace

    If you are visiting the Zwinger Palace, you can easily walk to Brühl's Terrace. Exit the Zwinger and walk towards the Semperoper (Dresden State Opera House). From the Semperoper, continue straight until you reach the Elbe River. Turn left and follow the riverbank for about 5 minutes. You will see Brühl's Terrace on your right side, located at Georg-Treu-Platz.

    From the Dresden Neustadt area, you can take bus number 64 from the stop 'Bautzner Strasse' towards 'Dresden, Am Alten Wettiner Platz'. Get off at the stop 'Georg-Treu-Platz'. From there, it's a short walk to Brühl's Terrace, which is directly in front of you.
