Walking
If you are near the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), start by heading east on Neumarkt towards the street 'Kreuzstraße'. Turn right onto Kreuzstraße and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the street 'Taschenberg'. Turn left onto Taschenberg and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see Dresden Castle on your left at Taschenberg 2.

Public Transport
If you are near the main train station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 3 or 8 from 'Hauptbahnhof' station towards 'Dresden-Prohlis' or 'Coschütz'. Get off at the 'Postplatz' stop (about 5 minutes ride). From there, walk towards the 'Zwinger' (a famous courtyard) and then head directly towards Taschenberg. Dresden Castle is located at Taschenberg 2, just a short walk from the Zwinger.
