Tram
If you are near the Altmarkt area, take Tram Line 1 or 2 from the Altmarkt-Galerie tram stop. Ride towards the direction of 'Kleinpestitz' on Line 1 or 'Weixdorf' on Line 2 for about 3 stops. Get off at the 'Postplatz' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight towards 'Taschenberg' street; you will see Dresden Castle ahead.

From the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take Bus 94 towards 'Dresden-Reick'. Ride for about 4 stops and get off at 'Taschenberg'. After exiting the bus, walk a short distance straight ahead, and you will arrive at the entrance of Dresden Castle.

Walking
If you are staying in the Altstadt (Old Town), you can easily walk to Dresden Castle. From the Frauenkirche, head east on 'Neumarkt' toward 'Kreuzstraße'. Turn left on 'Taschenberg', and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the castle on your right as you approach.
