Getting There

• Train

  From Dresden, head to the Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Look for the Regional Express (RE) train heading towards Děčín. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Děčín station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus station located right outside. Take bus number 434 towards Hřensko. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Hřensko' bus stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Edmundova Souteska. Follow the signs towards the ravine, and you will soon arrive at this beautiful natural attraction.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus directly from Dresden, head to the central bus station, Dresden ZOB, located near the main train station. Look for buses heading towards Hřensko. The journey takes about 1 hour, depending on traffic. Upon reaching Hřensko, you will find signs directing you towards Edmundova Souteska. It is a pleasant 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the ravine.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Dresden. Start your ride from the city center and head towards the Elbe River. Follow the bike path along the river, which will lead you towards Hřensko. The ride is scenic and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your speed. Once you reach Hřensko, look for signs for Edmundova Souteska, which is approximately a 10-minute ride from the center of Hřensko.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of Děčín, you can also walk to Edmundova Souteska. From Děčín, take the pedestrian path along the Elbe River towards Hřensko. The walk is about 10 kilometers and will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the river and the surrounding landscape as you make your way to the ravine.
