Train
From Dresden, head to the main train station, Dresden Hauptbahnhof. Take the S-Bahn line S1 towards Schöna. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at Bad Schandau station. Once you arrive at Bad Schandau, exit the station and head towards the main road (Kümmelsberg). Follow the signs for Kuhstallstraße, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. You'll see a sign for Felsentor 'Kuhstall' as you approach the scenic spot.
Bus
From the Dresden main station, take bus line 262 towards Bad Schandau. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Get off at the Bad Schandau, Bahnhof stop. From there, follow the signs to Kuhstallstraße, which is a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) heading northeast. You'll eventually arrive at Felsentor 'Kuhstall', a well-marked scenic spot.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Dresden and head towards the Elbe River. Follow the Elbe Cycle Path (Dresden to Bad Schandau route). The distance is about 40 kilometers and will take roughly 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Bad Schandau, follow local signs towards Kuhstallstraße, where Felsentor 'Kuhstall' is located. This route offers beautiful views along the river.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are already in Bad Schandau, you can walk from the town center to Felsentor 'Kuhstall'. From the center, take the Kuhstallstraße and follow the signs leading uphill.
