Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head southeast on Wilsdruffer Straße toward Prager Straße. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Altmarkt. Turn left onto Altmarkt and walk until you reach the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). From there, walk south towards the Theaterplatz, passing the Semperoper (Dresden Opera House) on your right. Continue along the path until you reach Augustusstraße. Turn left onto Augustusstraße, and you'll find Fürstenzug at Augustusstraße 1, directly next to the Stallhof.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you are near the Altmarkt-Galerie, take Tram Line 4 or 9 from there. Board at the Altmarkt stop, heading towards the direction of the train station. Get off at the stop named 'Prager Straße'. From here, head east on Prager Straße until you reach Altmarkt. Walk straight towards Frauenkirche and then follow the same route as mentioned for walking from the Hauptbahnhof. Just continue to the Theaterplatz and then turn left onto Augustusstraße to reach Fürstenzug.

From the opera, walk south through Theaterstraße to reach Augustusstraße. Turn left and walk until you see Fürstenzug on your right side, located at Augustusstraße 1.

    From the Brühl's Terrace (Brühlsche Terrasse), walk down the stairs to the waterfront and head towards Augustusstraße. Keep walking along the terrace until you reach the Augustusbrücke (Augustus Bridge). Cross the bridge and head north towards Augustusstraße. You will find Fürstenzug at Augustusstraße 1, next to the Stallhof.
