Getting There

Walking
If you are in the central part of Altstadt, start at the famous Dresden Frauenkirche. Head east on Neumarkt towards the exit of the square. Continue straight onto Georgenstraße for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Augustusstraße. Turn left onto Augustusstraße, and after a short walk of about 200 meters, you will see Fürstenzug on your right, just past the Dresden Castle.

Public Transport - Tram
From the nearest tram stop 'Postplatz', take tram line 4 or 9 in the direction of 'Gompitz' or 'Görlitz' respectively. Travel for one stop and get off at 'Theaterplatz'. From there, walk towards Augustusstraße, and you will find Fürstenzug approximately 300 meters ahead on your left. A single ticket for the tram costs approximately €2.70.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental stations in Altstadt. After renting, head north on Ostra-Allee towards Augustusstraße.
