    If you are starting from the Dresden Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), head to the tram stop located right outside the station. Take Tram Line 3 (direction: Coschütz) or Tram Line 8 (direction: Ebersbach). Stay on the tram for about 5 stops, which will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Wiener Platz'. From there, walk west along Wiener Platz until you reach the intersection with the street Altmarkt. Turn left onto Altmarkt and continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach Märchentor, located near the entrance of the historic city center.
