Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Dresden's main train station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof), head to the tram station located outside the train station. Take tram line 3 or 8 towards 'Dresden-Neustadt'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Neustädter Markt' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see the Nymphenbrunnen fountain directly in front of you in the market square.

    If you are near the historic city center (Altstadt), you can walk to Nymphenbrunnen. Start at the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). Head northwest on Neumarkt towards the Elbe River. Cross the Augustusbrücke (Augustus Bridge) and continue straight until you reach the Neustädter Markt. The Nymphenbrunnen is located in the center of the square. This walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

    From the city center, you can also take bus line 94 from 'Postplatz' bus stop towards 'Dresden-Neustadt'. Get off at 'Neustädter Markt' which is just a few stops away. The Nymphenbrunnen will be visible as you step off the bus, located in the market square.
